Medeva smiled cockily as she'd spoken, and ordered the soldiers and the Kraken to release their captives. When she looked over at Serenity, the expression she donned was telling. Her eyes were nearly popping out of her head, and her mouth gaped slightly.
"Did you finally figure it out?" Medeva taunted.
The moment Matt was free, he swam over to Serenity's side. When he looked at her face, he realized the same thing Medeva had. Anticipation hung heavily in the water as Serenity's eyes turned bloodshot as she glared at her supposed friend..
