As Rhea swam at Serenity, Matt called out for her to swim away, but Ren stayed where she was. As Rhea rushed the Undine Queen with her arm extended, Serenity reached out, and grabbed her wrist with one hand, and put her other where her elbow bent.
Using her own moment against her; Serenity yanked her to the side, then used her tail to kick her in the side of her head. Upon impact, Rhea released the blade and yelped in pain. She'd never fought or trained a day in her life, so it was no surprise when Serenity shoved her into the sand, and pinned her.
Merfolk soldiers rushed in to point the tips of their tridents at her. Matt swam down to Serenity, and pulled her into his arms and he muttered about how badly she'd scared him. The tender affection on his face and in his voice made Rhea's heart tinge.
