As Matt, Serenity, Selena, and Draxzel readied the soldiers and themselves for a fight, it came to them..
Hundreds of Mermen came out from the gates, and over the walls to swim into formations. They were looking at a mix of five hundred Mermen, and the two-hundred Gorgon soldiers that were missing before. As their soldiers readied to defend themselves, Matt swam out to meet one of the Captains.
As Matt tried to reason with the Merman, Selena swam over to Draxzel and asked; "Can't you order your soldiers to come over to our side?!"
Draxzel clicked his tongue as he shook his head; "I seriously doubt it, but I'll try."
Swimming forward a bit, Draxzel yelled; "Hey Giles! GILES! Did they pay you guys yet?!"
"Yep!"
Draxzel looked at Selena and shrugged as he replied; "Sorry."
Confused fury traversed her features as Selena yelled; "You're their King! ORDER them not to fight-"
