As Draxzel swam off to gather his men, Serenity and Selena swam over to the side to talk a moment, leaving Matt to chat with Constantine. They covered the route that they would take, as well as how they would travel..
The Merfolk had brought Matt's hippocampus for their true royalty to ride home. When Constantine told his King, Matt swallowed hard as he looked at Bismuth, then back at his commander. He was expecting praise of some sort for being thoughtful, but got an attitude for his troubles instead.
"Why didn't you bring one for Ren too?!" Matt scream-whispered.
"Who's Ren?" Constantine asked, confused by the Queen's nickname.
"It's Serenity! Why didn't you bring her one? Or a dolphin?! Just. Her. Own?!"
Still not understanding, and becoming a bit irritated with Matt, Constantine got a bit snippy; "What in Hades' hellfire is wrong with you? It's not That long of a ride. I'm sure she'll be comfortable-"
