When Huobai woke up for the third time, he already felt a lot better. He slept off the anesthesia and he could finally move more than his head comfortably.
The nurse was standing by his side and was just removing the machines that checked his vitals. She smiled at him and looked around.
"Your boyfriend will soon be back. I sent him outside because I had to check everything out. Let's try to sit up if you can, so I can remove all the tubes," she said and Huobai must have been red from the embarrassment he felt.
But he followed her instructions and walked around the room with the crutches, just to show he was already all right and knew how to use them. So, after that, she took everything out and left him alone in the bed with his leg up.
Huobai could see his phone on the night table next to him and reach out to it. He had just social media metrics stats and some messages from fans wishing him good luck. But nothing from the team members.
