-A request?- Mr. Xen gave a small laugh -And what do you think, asking me?-
-Being quite honest with you. I confess, I'm pretty bored at this auction. None of his items, so far, have really caught my eye. What impressed me most were the daggers. But it was just a momentary feeling, and nothing more than that.
Mr. Xen was a little confused when he heard Noah's words. And not even waiting for an answer, he asked -But if you are not interested in the items. So why did you go to the trouble of making offers, for all of them?
The cart with the daggers was a few steps to Noah's left. He then walked over, and with one of the daggers in his hand, he smiled and said -Why? Well, I guess... it was simply because I wanted to. Just that.-
Surprised by the response he received, Mr. Xen muttered, "Just because you wanted to?" It's not possible that this is really true... -
Noah smiled -You don't need to be muttering like that. And know that yes, what I told you is really true. I didn't have a purpose, or ulterior motives, in making those offers." He placed the dagger again, next to the other, and turned. In fact, I do need something from you.
-And what would it be exactly?
-I want to know, if it would really be worth it, to stay in this place, and participate in this entire auction.
Mr. Xen sighed -So, you want me to show you something, to do, with which you want to stay. Is not it?
With a smile on his face, Noah looked up at him. "Well, if you'd rather play it that way, maybe that's it."
-In case you can really pay, everything I said before. I'll take you to see something you might find interesting. Even because, I put the last items of the auction, in separate places, just in case. Not to risk someone stealing them. So letting him see them wouldn't exactly be a problem.
"Well, since you say…" Noah took the space bag from his waist. And while he looked at her with a certain contempt, Mr. Xen asked, "So, you're telling me, you walk the streets, with all that money, inside that little purse?"
With the bag in his hand, and smiling, Noah looked at him -What? Is this a problem?
With a small forced smile, Mr. Xen explained -No, that's not it. I just made an observation. Don't mind it.–
Noah looked around, but all he could see were the carts beside him. 4 windows, two on each side of that room, windows that lit up the whole place. The girls, who kept behind the carts they had pushed before. And a few other carts, with other items, standing around them –Ok! So where should I put the crystals?
Upon hearing it, Mr. Xen raised his hand. And standing behind him, the girl who had just come through the black door, with the two of them, as she pushed the cart with the dress. She immediately bowed, and then quickly headed for a door just behind her.
So when he came back, the girl came with a cart that looked just like the others. However, unlike the ones that carry the auction items, that cart had space to put things in it. And after the girl stopped with the cart in front of him, Mr. Xen looked at the space inside it. "I think that should be enough." He took two steps back, and after having walked away from the cart. Smiling, he said, "Then please do it."
Noah took a few steps forward, and looking into the cart, muttered, "That's it then..." He put the mouth of his bag in the direction of the cart, and began pouring the blue crystals into it.
Then, after he had finished pouring the crystals, Noah looked into the cart – Oops! My mistake. Not this one. - And taking his hand, to the pile of crystals, he removed the only red crystal that had in all that amount.
Speechless, that's how Mr. Xen and the girls were. He, much less they, actually believed that Noah would pull so many crystals out of that simple space bag. And after putting away the daggers, the last things left, Noah turned towards Mr. Xen. -So, what are you going to show me, which is so interesting, to the point of making me stay?-
–Huh? What?...- Mr. Xen, looked puzzled again at the crystals, and stayed that way, for a few more moments. However, impatiently, Noah approached and, in a slightly irritated tone, asked, "Will you be a long time yet?"
After that, Xen looked at him immediately. And seeing that smile, clearly fake, that Noah was giving. He took one last look at those crystals, and after raising his hand, he ordered -Come on! Get this out of here.–
Then, on hearing his order, the girl picked up the cart again, and began to push it towards the door, which was behind her.
-Now, please follow me. That I'll show you something… - said Mr. Xen, right after the girl had passed through the door, behind him.
Expecting something, at least close to your sword's level. Noah followed Mr. Xen until he came to something like that, with a large chamber. A chamber that contained some really interesting items. But what most caught Noah's attention, just as he placed his first foot in the room, was the sword that was in the center of the room.
A crimson red sword, which was on top of a blue pillow, which was under what appeared to be a small column, cut in half. And that sword, by itself, seemed to emit pressure already, really remarkable.
'Really…coming here, it wasn't a waste of time…' Noah thought, as he showed a notorious smile of satisfaction on his face.
