I started to get nervous because he clearly stated that he didn't like families with just his glare. Michael mumbled, "So you lied just so we can be friends?" I was about to tear up. Michael was about to say something else, but I ran out of the closet. He was chasing me, but I out sped him because I've been running and escaping my whole life. I started running at top speed, and I rushed to the elevator.
I opened the door, and I was met with a horde of people waiting for the elevator to go up. I looked behind me, and I saw Michael still running after me. I squeezed into the elevator, and someone shut the door. The elevator started going up, and I was at the surface once again. Everyone walked out, and so did I. The elevator started going down. I started walking to the giant house specifically for large families.
As I walked, I heard someone growling. I kept walking because it didn't bother me too much until a heavy weight knocked me down. I looked behind me, and I saw Michael's face. I tried to escape, but his weight kept me down. He said, "I still need to talk to you..." I was trying to calm down, but an electrical shock soared through my body. I grabbed my neck and screamed. Tears rolled down my face like bullets, and Michael shouted, "Cody! What's wrong!?"
The shock stopped, and I heard my mother say, "Oh. It's just to keep him in check since he's still a discovery." Michael got off of me and asked, "What do you mean by "new discovery"?" My mother laughed and said, "He's an Omega dearie." Michael fumed and said, "You're lying! A male can't be an Omega!" My mother crouched down to me and said, "Whistle. Unless you want to be shocked again."
I clutched the dirt on the ground in my hands and whistled. It was a soft, high-pitched whistle. I stopped, and I heard Michael say, "This is impossible." When someone whistled back, my mom put her hand over my mouth and said, "If you dare whistle back, I will personally put the shock collar on you." She shocked me again, and as a reaction, I bit her hand as hard as I could.
She shouted, "Ow! You brat! Let go!" I let go, and I tasted blood. I looked up at her hand, and it was bleeding a lot. She was about to shock me again, but Michael grabbed her hand and took the remote. He then picked me up and ran away. My mother screeched something, but I couldn't hear what she said. I got shocked again, and then I passed out.
I woke up in an old house. I looked around, but no one was around. I tried to get up, but my body was paralyzed. "Sleep paralysis.." I thought. It was common to me because my mother and younger siblings would stress me out. When it first happened to me, I thought I died and ended up in hell, but I'm used to it now.
A minute had passed, and I was able to move around again. I got out of bed and walked to the door. I slowly opened it, and I saw someone on his phone. He said, "Michael you better come pick him up before I go to work. I can't babysit him all day." After a few seconds of silence, the guy said, "No! I won't "take care" of him tomorrow! You don't do squat all day! Just come pick him up before I go to work!"
Then he hung up and sighed. He looked directly at me, and I quickly got away from the door. I wanted to go home, but I didn't want to break anything in this man's house. I heard footsteps getting louder and closer to the door, so I got onto the bed, and sat there. The man opened the door and said, "So you're Cody Autumn. I've heard a lot about you on T.V and how you're some special discovery."
"Great. Now she put me on T.V." I mumbled. The man said, "My name is Leon. I'm Michael's godfather." I didn't reply because I was nervous. Leon said, "Alright. His plan is to keep you away from your family, but that's impossible." I looked out the window, and I saw a few of my family members looking for me. Leon covered up the window and said, "Yeah. They came over here twice."
I asked, "Why does Michael want to keep me away from them?" Leon shrugged and said, "You're going to have to ask him, but by the look on your face, you don't really want to talk to him." I said, "I do want to talk to him. It's just that I think he doesn't want to talk to me. I'm a Honey-Autumn after all." Leon frowned and said, "He's just jealous of you people high up. He thinks that it's disrespectful for them to talk to him."
I started to think that I should've stopped before I went outside of the school. Leon said, "I don't know what his problem is, but he suddenly came in here with you passed out in his arms. He also stayed in the room you were sleeping in for a while, then he left without a word." I wanted to know what was on Michael's mind when he brought me here.
