Centuries ago, when Anck Su Namun and Imhotep were human, they fell in love at first sight and lived through the strongest, most maddening, and eternal of loves who no longer knew how to live apart from each other.
No matter how hard they tried to be away from each other, they couldn't, because the love they had was extremely strong and intense, which prevented them from seeing other people and when that happened, they became exaggeratedly jealous.
Therefore, they knew they had to pay the consequences for falling in love and they were happy to pay, no matter what the cost.
But what they did not count is that, in their immense love, a third person would appear, who would do the impossible to separate them and that person is the Goddess Athena.
Sorrowful, the Goddess Athena saw Imhotep, she wanted him to be only for her and did not want to share it with anyone and if there was or had the impression that a woman was interested in Imhotep, she would do everything possible to separate her from him; to such an extent, to humiliate and denigrate her.
All the women felt intimidated in the presence of the Goddess Athena and did not want to upset her for any reason, because they knew that she would not have mercy on any of them and they also had the knowledge of what had happened to Medusa, who was raped. in the temple of the Goddess Athena by Poseidon and that, when the Goddess Athena, learned the truth, she punished poor Medusa in a cruel way.
The only one who did not show fear before the Goddess Athena, was Anck Su Namun because, for her, she was only a pretentious goddess, who is used to obtaining what she wants at the point tantrums and hysterics.
Every time the two were close, there was some confrontation, fights or insults, because the Goddess Athena has always wanted to be the most desired and always have the attention of all humanity; especially, that of men, because she could not live without being told how beautiful she is and that she is the envy of women.
Therefore, the Goddess Athena thought that she was going to attract the same attention from all the people in Hamunaptra, but it was not like that, because there are women, who are much better than her and that, made her enraged.
When the Goddess Athena, went to Hamunaptra for the first time, she felt a strong attraction towards Imhotep and did not stop chasing him or harassing him, everywhere he went or detached at any time.
Every time the Goddess Athena harassed him, Imhotep wouldn't stop rejecting her, because he didn't like being bullied by her at all, because the only woman he would allow to be bullied is by Anck Su Namun and she by Imhotep.
"What are you going to do with Goddess Athena, who doesn't stop harassing you?" Anck Su Namun asked her after they made love.
"I don't know, but I don't like that he's harassing me like that," Imhotep replied, after kissing Anck Su Namun tenderly.
"Not me, but for now, we are not going to think about her, but about ourselves and in this sweet moment that is only ours," Anck Su Namun replied.
The two lovebirds did not want to continue talking about the subject and decided to love each other throughout the night.
The next day, both Anck Su Namun and Imhotep woke up with a start when they heard screams coming from the entrance of the room.
"Good morning, love. I love you very much and you have no idea how much," Imhotep told her while kissing her tenderly and at the same time, hugging her.
"Good morning, love. I also love you with the same strength and in the same way that you love me and our love will be eternal," Anck Su Namun replied.
"Who dares to disturb us?" Imhotep asked while he was yelling.
Everyone knew that Imhotep did not like to have his sleep interrupted, much less to be interrupted while he was with Anck Su Namun.
"Excuse me, My Lord. What happens is that the Goddess Athena, wishes to enter by force, to her room and we are preventing her from entering," said one of the guards.
"How dare you! Under no circumstances can she come into my room. I don't care if she's the famous Goddess Athena, she just won't come into my room," Imhotep said.
"As you order. The Goddess Athena, will not enter your room, no matter what you say or do," said the chief of the guards.
"Thank you all for your understanding and I don't know how to reward you," Imhotep said.
Faced with the impediment of the guards, for the Goddess Athena to enter the room, she simply could not enter, and before returning to Heaven, she swore that she would take revenge on everyone, for this lack of respect, by not letting her enter Imhotep's room.
Anger, jealousy, and hatred began to take over the body of the Goddess Athena, completely, making all the goodness that was in her finally disappear.
Everyone in Hamunaptra knew that this was the beginning of the end for them on earth.
