Another two hours later, Lin Qianru woke up again and insisted to Chi Rong that she wanted to see her parents and brothers.
Chi Rong sighed and obliged but he also took a promise from Lin Qianru.
"You are not allowed to cry. It drains your energy. As soon as I feel that you are emotionally tired, you are supposed to go back to sleep."
"Yes, I will do as you say."
Lin Qianru smiled softly and agreed.
Her smile made Chi Rong smile as well. He held her hand and kissed it slightly. When he noticed that she didn't look uncomfortable and even looked shy, he was relieved.
He was afraid that the two years gap between their relationship which already started too late would put a gap between them as well.
Chi Rong didn't demand much from this relationship. He wanted to take care of Lin Qianru and love her for the life they were left with.
