The next few minutes after calling He Jian, Mo Roulan just spent in a daze.
She sat there silently on her chair as she watched everything being turned on.
The interrogation that was going to take place inside the cell never occurred. Just two minutes later, she put down the phone, the door of the cell opened.
The same policewoman who had pushed Mo Roulan inside the cell stepped inside and looked at Mo Roulan with a complex look in her eyes.
Mo Roulan didn't mind her curious eyes.
It was something expected after what she had done.

Said Inspector Meng to Mo Roulan with a throaty chuckle which became awkward when Mo Roulan didn't reciprocate his smile.
