Fadumo's eyes widened in realization.
She had been so fixated on the fact that she finally found someone to pass her Legacy to, she forgot to think about the basic etiquette involved in doing so. This was particularly important for people like the female in front of her who had such a strong Will, meaning she had strong convictions.
Such people wouldn't be driven by the face value of her Inheritance and not consider how it affected their convictions.
But then again, the ghostly woman couldn't completely be blamed.
She wasn't technically Fadumo, but rather the literal obsession Fadumo left behind. Since the obsession was to pass on Fadumo's legacy, it wasn't a surprise that it was what the ghostly woman blindly focused on.
