CH905: Coward and Clairvoyant I

The street-corner shop was a less than a year establishment on the street and had quite a number of customers.
Enough for the shop to be assumed to be successful.
On this day, the shop had remained closed due to two of its four staff being out of the shop for personal reasons. The other two staff members lazily manned the shop although they weren't receiving customers.
"This wasn't what I expected when I decided to move here. I thought we would receive exciting jobs and get to see the world." The female of the two said.
The lady was in her early twenties, light-skinned and somewhat above average in appearance.
The other staff, a lanky male of around the same age, looked up from the magazine he was reading and asked with raised eyebrow,
"What made you think running a Laundry shop would be exciting?"
