CH692: Moral Justification
Korede ruminated deeply on the matter. He didn't rush to make a decision even as time ticked away and the Eritrean forces closed in on the refugee camp in Tigray, Ethiopia.
This turned out to be his first tough decision he'll make as the leader of Pantheon and didn't want to make a choice lightly. For he knew it would set a precedent for the organisation going forward.
'Well, if I consider it an issue of precedence, then this decision no longer becomes a decision of what is legal but what I believe to be right... what Pantheon should believe to be right. In that case, it should be a decision based on what kind of organisation I see Pantheon as... or maybe what I want it to be.
'From that point of view, the decision is no longer a difficult one to make, is it? Pantheon, and by extension Horus, isn't a For-profit organisation. Its purpose is to stand against the Initiative and do right by humanity.'
