CH661: Battle of the Beast Path
Fatima made some preparations before finally releasing the Beasts.
Of course not before pressing on them not to feed on the humans they fought or killed.
The instruction was strange to the Beasts but they accepted the request. It was a small price to pay for their release.
Fatima knew that humans had a thing against Beast who had tasted human blood. By convention, it is believed that a Beast that has tasted human blood would develop a thirst for it. They would crave human flesh and likely kill many people. So, any beast known to have tasted human blood is usually killed at the first opportunity.
She didn't want these beast, whose rights to freedom had been violated and were rightly enraged, to be killed.
The veil of midnight darkness covered the area where the cages were. The poachers keeping watch were oblivious to what was happening as they chatted and laughed at their well-lit camps.
