Lord Benjamin Wright, the Head of the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), better known as MI6, was a member of the Franklin House.
The Intelligence spymaster in his late fifties was a frequent visitor in the club and could be mingling with many of the movers and pushers of British society.
