CH491: The Past I
"Twenty years ago, I was finishing up my studies in Law School in Cairo. Around that time, there was a massive civil rights protest against the police in the city. Some group of police officers had used excessive force against a young man in full public view. There was outrage and condemnation which eventually led to the protests.
"One day, I was returning home from school and the protesters had blocked my route home. So, I decided to take some shortcuts through some alleyways and condemned buildings. That's how I got into trouble.
