'Heavy,' Korede thought.
The statue was heavier than it looked.
He recalled something. Then, he smashed the statue in his hand on the floor.
Fatima and the Sicarios were shocked. Then, they saw him point to the fragments. Among the fragments of shattered statue was a bag of cocaine.
He said to Fatima, "A few years ago, a DSS agent told me of a smuggling bust he took part of. The smugglers hid their contraband in everyday items to avoid detection."
"Not only do they smuggle drugs through a church, they also use a religious symbol to do so," Fatima said. "Don't they have a bottomline?"
"Bottomline?" Korede scoffed. "'To expect bad men not to do wrong is madness'. Fatima, they are cartel."
He realised something when he said that.
