Detective Tanaka succeeded in riling the police officers at the crime scene. They gave Korede unfriendly stares as they thought he was disturbing the investigation into the deaths of their brothers- and sisters-in-arms.
Miyako frowned. She was about to say something when Korede held her hand and shook his head. Nothing she said would probably reach them. It was just better to leave. He had seen everything he needed at the crime scene anyways. There was no reason to play in Detective Tanaka's hands and become a public enemy.
