CH134: DISCUSSION WITH THE PRESIDENT
"Mr President, sir!" Korede saluted.
President Isong turned to him.
"Stand easy soldier." He said.
He walked away from the window and sat on a sofa facing Lieutenant General Balogun's table.
Lieutenant General Balogun stood up from his table and came to sit on another seat perpendicular to the sofa.
"Come on, sit down. We have much to discuss." President Isong invited.
Korede subtly shot a confused look at Lieutenant General Balogun. He didn't understand why the president was present. He was a mere Sergeant.
Lieutenant General Balogun returned a nod.
Left with no choice, he could only bring a chair and sit opposite the president.
