BOOM!
The Grenadier launched the fire and forget missile, and the Marines watched the missile incapacitate the Armoured vehicle.
But they didn't celebrate because the BRDM-2 had achieved its aim.
It had cleared a path through the rubble which had blocked vehicles from going through.
Papa 1-1 wanted nothing more than to order the Grenadiers to block the path again, unfortunately, the unit was almost out of RPG and Javelin missile rounds.
He decided to save them for the guerrilla battles in the town.
"Fall back into the town. We are moving to phase 2."
Slowly the Marines began to retreat into town as the hostiles brought in their vehicles past the narrow gap into the front of town.
The Marines regrouped with their Zulu Platoon mates.
