CH1058: Pep Talk

Korede left the SCIF with a serious expression.
His teammates immediately knew something was wrong.
"Problem?" Mary asked.
"What's the mission?" Fatima asked.
"A miracle. That's what." Korede replied. "I will explain once we are on the plane. We are on a clock and need to be in the AO by 1900 hours local time."
The team began walking towards the entrance. Their minds came up with different reasons why Korede would call the mission a miracle. They got more ludicrous than the other as time passed.
Fortunately for their sanity, the Presidential Guard Colonel was waiting for them in the corridor leading to the exit.
"I have orders to give that to you after your briefing." The Colonel passed a data pad to Korede. "I was told to tell you the device will only come active when you enter the AO's airspace."
Korede nodded.
The data pad should be the access to the portal DG Aribisala mentioned.
