President Nnamdi Isong had led a high power delegation comprising the National Security Adviser, five important ministers, a number of members of both houses of the National Assembly, top diplomats, key government officers and many others to the emergency AU meeting to finalise plans for the Union's intervention in crisis-ridden countries on the continent.
Although the African leaders comprising the membership of the AU had reached a prior tentative Agreement on a previous date, the interference of the US and many of her NATO allies have caused concerns to rise with the Union.
