After she signed the contract, Sebastian took the contract from her and placed it in a plastic file and slid it into his filing cabinet.
Sebastian looked at Ivy with a stern expression. "My name is Sebastian Allenson in case you didn't know." He said, "Tell me the name of your fashion business."
"Ivy-Flowers Pins and Needles."
He nodded, "Did you come up with the name." She nodded in reply, "It suits you." He commented.
"Alex!" Sebastian shouted, and a man that was standing outside the door bowing towards his boss.
Ivy turned in her seat to look at the man that stepped in. 'He must be someone important like Sebastian.' She guessed while looking at the clothes he was wearing.
"Bring Miss Alexander back to her room and then come back. We need to talk privately."
"Of course, sir." The man said before turning to look at the small Ivy, "Miss, please follow me." The man said before he turned to walk out.
Ivy stood up and ran outside, following him. His long strides were tough to keep up with, so she had to run so she won't get lost.
He soon stopped at the door that she walked out of when she left to talk to Sebastian. He opened the door for her.
Offering him a soft smile and saying thank you, she walked into the room and sat back on the bed. She looked at the time on her phone and sighed.
Looking for something to do, her eyes stopped on the makeup on her vanity stand. Her eyes narrowed, and she smiled before standing up and walking over to it.
The maids that did her makeup this morning made it look easy, and her sister and mother always did their makeup. Ivy herself never touched makeup, but she was already too beautiful to use it.
Sitting on the stool, she grabbed the mascara and opened it. Watching her mother using the same looking bottle and brush on her eyelashes, Ivy guessed that this was for her eyelashes.
Leaning close to the mirror, she placed the brush on her eyelash of her right eye and accidentally blinked.
"It burns." Cried Ivy who ran to the washroom in her room to wash the makeup out of her eye. 'Was this really what this thing was for, it burnt too much.' Thought Ivy as she washed out her eyes.

"..." It took five hours of washing and applying the makeup to understand how to use most of the makeup. Sadly, she made no progress in learning how to apply it nicely. Ivy looked like a scary clown, all she needed was the over-sized shoes, outfit and a wig.
Knock!
Knock!
Knock!
There was a knock on the door, which distracted her from applying some blush. Because the knock was unexpected, and dropped the blush and the pink, fine powered went all over her legs and dress.
"Ahhh!!" The maid that dropped Ivy off at Sebastian's study screamed in horror, looking at her. "Miss Alexander! What did you do? You look like a five-year-old that got into her mother's makeup." Cried the maid walking up to Ivy.
"Let's go get you cleaned and fixed up dear, it won't be nice to scare Sir Allenson away who is giving you a roof over your head." The maid said, taking Ivy by the hand and led her to the washroom.
"Because you don't have enough time for a bath, take a shower, and I will be back in with some clothes for you to wear for dinner." She said and left Ivy in the washroom.
Doing what the maid told her, Ivy walked into the bathtub and turned on the shower. Letting the steaming warm water flow over her, she had a million thoughts going through her mind. 'Did I really look that bad? I thought I did a pretty good job for my first time. Why did the maid scream when she saw me? Did Sebastian hear her? Why did I sell myself for my business? Was this a good idea? Or was it a terrible idea? How am I supposed to get a hold of Mr and Mrs Clair? They are probably so worried about me. I miss them. I should've just given up on my dream like my father told me to.' Closing her eyes and leaning against the wall, the door opened, and the maid came back in.
"Miss Alexander? Why aren't you out? Sir Sebastian would be annoyed at you for taking too long." The maid fretted.
Hearing the maid, Ivy got out of her train of thought. Turning off the shower, she wrapped the white towel around her and stepped out.
"Sorry, I just enjoyed it too much." Ivy admitted hearing the maid sigh.
"I suggest you try to shower at a tempter that you won't enjoy as much. All you needed to do was wash off your makeup." She lectured while handing Ivy a pile of clothes. "Now change and when you come out I will do your hair and makeup." The maid commanded before leaving Ivy alone in the washroom.
With a nod, Ivy watched the maid leave and then changed into the clothes.
It was a pair of light blue ripped jeans and a pink sequined shirt.
Walking out, she noticed the maid had already cleaned Ivy's makeup mess and went to sit down on the stool.
"Now, because we don't have lots of time, your hair will have to air dry, so I think it will be best to put it in a high ponytail." The maid thought out loud as she started to style her hair before moving onto her face.
Once the maid was finished, she stood in front of Ivy, giving her a stern motherly look. "Now Miss Alexander, don't mess up your hair and makeup. By the looks of it, you seem like the girl who rather not wear makeup, so she purposely messes it up."
'Well, that is partly true. I will rather not wear makeup, but I won't purposely mess it up.' thought Ivy before smiling with a nod, showing off her cute dimples.
"Good, now come with me, we have kept Sir Allenson waiting long enough." The maid instructed, walking out of the room.
Ivy quickly stood up and followed suit.
"May I ask what your name is?" Asked Ivy while she and the maid walked through the halls.
"Dana."
"That's a really pretty name. Oh, and you don't need to call me Miss Alexander, you can just call me Ivy."
Dana smiled, "Ivy is also a pretty name." She commented.
Soon they made it to the doors of the dining room, Dana and Ivy talked and laughed the entire time walking down the halls. Was this really what it felt like to have a friend?
Walking in, Ivy's eyes wandered around. Surprisingly, the dining room looked normal compared to the rest of the house, it felt comforting.
Sebastian was sitting at the head of the table and to his right was the man that he called Alex.
Sebastian looked up at Ivy with a smile and pointed to a chair on his left and said, "Sit."
With a nod, Ivy sat down and food started to be served.

[7:00 P. M]
Dinner was better than Ivy expected. She ate food that she never ate before, and everything on the table was mouthwatering. From rear stake to creamy noodles.
Once everyone finished their food, Ivy looked up at Sebastian and spoke after clearing the throat, "S-sir Allenson, is it p-possible for me s-see some people that I promised to v-visit."
He looked over at her, raising an eyebrow, "Ivy, you can just call me Sebastian and can't you just call them? Do you not have a phone?" He wondered.
She shook her head, "I do but-" she pulled her cracked iPhone out her pocket and turned it on to show him.
"... Did you drop it off a building or something?"
She shook her head.
"Then how did it break?"
"May or may not have dropped it everywhere else."
"Then use mine." He said pulling a brand new phone from his pocket.
She shook her head again, "I-I don't know t-their number
"... Do you remember where the people live? I can bring you there." He offered.
She nodded, "6453 Fallen road, apartment eleven."
He gave her a disgusted face as she said the address. He knew the owner, and he knew that that building was never well taken care of.
She looked down as he gave the face, "Th-they were my ne-neighbors and really kind people." She started talking about them.
"Your neighbors? You lived in that trash."
"It was the only thing that I could a-afford."
He nodded before standing up, "well, come on." He said walking out without waiting for her. It was hard for her to keep up with him too.
