I watched her resting peacefully next to me. In a wide hospital bed, I lay beside Andrea and didn't want to waste any second.
Her eyes were red and swollen. The whole time since upon my arrival, she had never let go of my hands. Andrea missed me a lot and I felt the same way too.
Silence took the chance to bring back the good, old memories. The entire room was filled with everything she needed.
There were a rectangular table on the right corner. On top of it was a white, porcelain flower vase. The hospital knew how to lessen every patient's sorrow and griefs.
The alluring smell filled around that could barely hypnotize me. My eyes suddenly wanted to rest but, I must keep alive and awake.
When she woke up, I could give and cater all her needs without any complaint.
"Sleep well, young lady." I smiled, caressing her hair. "I'll buy something to eat. As soon as you wake up, we will eat together. Will you wait for me?"
