"For what?"
It was a dumb question and I knew it. The sensation between us slowly changed as it turned too warm and difficult to breath.
Lisandro held my arms as he stared at me. His eyes were telling something but I didn't think I could read and misinterpret what he was thinking.
I could hear the sound of his breath, how he took a deep sigh and how many times he cleared his throat. He looked uncomfortable and Lisandro suspiciously looked at somewhere else.
He said, "I-I'm sorry but I have to read all of these documents!"
Somehow, he was right to make such an alibi. We needed to break the fire that slowly pushing ourselves to become one.
On the other side, it was the perfect time to cherish every second with him. The rain may sounded horrible but still, it was an angel in disguise that helped us to reconcile and settle things between us.
