"What are you doing up there sparky?" Kuno stares daggers at his classmate that called him by the nickname he hates "I will be 1-A's announcer for this year's sports festival" kuno answered the question with the biggest smile on his face. Then he addressed the crowd:
"Today is 1-A's sports festival, tomorrow will be 1-B's and the next day it is the second years and so on". He takes a deep breath "Everyone this is only the start of SPORTS FESTIVAL WEEK" the crowd erupted into cheers, nearly every seat was full and even more were watching at home.
"We will have two guests to 1-A, 1 from general studies and the other from the support course. Can our guests fight and battle their way into the hero course, this is their chance to prove they have what it takes to be a hero but I'll stop hyping them up". He waves his hand to the tunnel as lights come on:
"Introducing General Studies Kimura Chiaki and Support courses Hashi Yoshino" they both walk out wearing the U.A. gym clothes, 1-A is in the same clothes.
Kimura Chiaki has dark green hair tied up into a ponytail and her eyes a crimson red.
Hashi Yoshino has messy and spiky black hair, bags are under his eyes.
"Now that everyone's here let's get started!" Kuno pulls out a remote and pressed a button, a large holographic screen appeared behind him revealing a bracket "let's start the tournament". Mr Koin walked out and asked the students to move and a good few metres away from the platform kuno was standing appeared a massive concrete arena.
"Thank you Control-C for the arena. Can 1-A please return to the waiting room except for..." kuno turns toward the holographic screen and presses a button as names start to appear on the bracket, the names flickered as they were being randomly assigned.

"Kami Mazuki and Kanda Michi please walk up into the arena" 1-A leaves to the waiting room as kami and Kanda stand at opposite ends of the arena "alright to win you must ether
trap/incapacitate your opponent or send them out of bounds" kuno looks at both of them "are you ready" they both nod their heads.
The air had gotten cold the moisture condescend into water which then froze, the ice took shape as a gauntlet on each of Michi's hands and the ice-covered her shoes and half of her lower leg to form boots. At the other end of the arena kami stood in a defensive position, her pupils turned white then back she was ready for anything...
"BEGIN"
Michi skated forward like on ice and raised a clawed gauntlet and swung at kami who swiftly dodged with no problem. Michi didn't stop throwing punches or scratches but none land, like water kami dodged every attack not even breaking a sweat. You could see the anger on michi's face as kami effortlessly dodged the attacks, "this is going to hurt" michi whispers to her self and then shouts "Black Ice!" as the gauntlets and boots turn from an icey blue to a metallic black.
"The ice surrounding michi has turn black could that be a sign of how cold it is? But it looks like her mobility has taken a hit as the boots are too slippery to control"
She begins to attack again but kami is confused as to why this would make a difference, the icey claw comes within an inch of kami's face but every attack was this close because if she wanted enough time to dodge the next one she had to cut it close. The claw was an inch away and kami felt the bite of the cold, she backed away and felt her cheek the water in her skin had turned to ice. They continued this cycle but kami was leading michi to the edge of the arena, kami's back was at the edge
here goes nothing she thought to herself.
"Scene Change!" her eyes let out a flash of white as time stops, she moves behind michi and scissor kicks her in the back and kami's eyes let out another flash of light as time starts again. Michi is sent flying forward over the edge of the arena.
"Kami seemingly teleports behind Kanda knocking her out of bounds, Kami Mazuki moves onto the next round!" As he says this she collapses on to her knees holding her head and shutting her eyes like having a massive headache. Medical robots come out putting kami on a stretcher and bringing her to the nurse's office, michi follows with what looks like frostbite on her hands.
Kuno's watch starts to beep "Our next competitors will be out soon so don't go anywhere" kuno smirks and looks directly at the camera.
"The game has just begun"
Many believed that he just miss spoke and meant to say "games" but three knew there was something else going on. One actually knew what it meant, a woman with short black and red hair dressed in a nice suit, Natana Hitari knew that a game of chess had begun.

A remote flies through the air toward a tv only to be caught by the shadows itself "I don't think destroying the tv is the answer Miss Hitari" the shadow sits on the sofa opposite her.
"He knows what he's doing" the woman retorts still looking at the tv "yes but he is a child he can't do anything" she stares at them "never underestimate Hitari blood" she takes a drink from her glass with a brown liquid in it. "YEA and I learnt that the hard way" a man walks in (well limps in) bandages tied around his chest, leg and arm in a sling. His signature 5 leaf clover coat hanging on his shoulders. "Natana you could have warned me that he was your broth-" "my brother isn't in control. That-" she points to the screen "-is kuno hiroki the hero wannabe who just declared war against us"
"Whatever but you could have said who he was then I wouldn't have broken ribs, collapsed lung and a broken arm!"
She doesn't even look at him but says "did you know that when you break a bone it heals back stronger" "I hate you" "and I hate you to now sit down"
As they're still watching the sports festival a young man, most likely a servant, enters the room "mistress you have a letter" "it must be one of my contacts, they're the only ones who know about this place. Hand it here" she takes it from the man and opens it inside is a card with a picture of a black pawn chess piece and it has words on the back:

At that moment one of the security men in the room got a message through his communicator "Miss Hitari we need to move, heroes have the entire mansion surrounded" he says in a gruff voice. She grits her teeth "move to safe house B, that has no record of existing on our system and check if there has been any unauthorised access" she grabs on to the shadow's shoulder and the other on clover's. "take us away Phantom" they disappear into the darkness and reappear in an old abandoned bar. (the league of villains bar)
"he can't do anything, huh?" She says sarcastically looking at Phantom and they sigh "point taken, Miss Hitari".
A few hours later
Phantom walks into the bar as Natana is setting up a chessboard "so were there any breaches" she says noticing their presence "sadly yes a week ago we were breached but no information was detected stolen. We checked again today and found that our location was leaked to the heroes sometime this week"
"Why is everything so vague?" She says placing the last piece on the board "because miss, we don't have access to our system" Natana turns her head and gives them a death stair "what?" "He locked us out of our own system" she continues starring while clover is sitting in a booth listening and wanting to laugh but would probably be killed "any time we want to access the system it just shows a picture of a queen chess piece and the money in your father's savings account was liquidated and transferred to multiple accounts"
She starts to tap her finger on the bar seemingly in thought, she stops and sighs accepting the information.
"*sigh* how many people were arrested?" "46" "how many heros were injured or killed?" "24 were injured and 5 were forced to retire due to injuries" she then starts to play a game of chess until her front line of pawns are gone and only two are left on the enemy front line "what are you doing Natana?" Clover gets up and limps over to the stool next to her and sits down "the heroes are his pawns-" she pointed to the black set of chess pieces "-my people are my pawns, I am this queen-" she lifts the white queen and puts it back down "-and he is this queen-" she does the same to the black queen "we are the most important pieces on the board the people who fight for us are the pawns. Are most trusted adviser is the king, you are mine and through the information you gave me kiato is most likely his king"
Clover looks smug and brushes his shoulder "so I'm your king?" "Stop inflating your ego, it's easy to pop a balloon"
