Ara eyed her new ring with pure adoration in her eyes.  It was the same design as the others, with gold for the metal and emerald that matched her eye for the Celtic knot.  Sael had learned something new.  Only humans tied marital significance to rings.  Fairies didn't have wedding rings.  Nor did the race Shel belonged to.  But what he did learn was that every woman no matter what race loved jewelry.  Even more so when given by someone they care about.
