Chapter 147 - Ambush

Sael stood up and dusted his hands off against his thighs again, the disintegrated chain making his hands feel grimy.  He looked around at the seven bodies each with a messy pool of blood around them.  There were no dwarves this time.  Several more of the strange furball creatures Mamor told him were Steel Shags.  With the rest being a group of greyish purple skinned floppy eared creatures that looked a lot like a goblin.  Although compared to the only other goblins he had seen they were scrawny instead of miniature hulks.  He had continued to try and find ways to shatter or remove the strange chains only he could see.  So far each subject had simply died a very messy death.  The visceral feel of the chains being drawn from the bodies was starting to make his stomach turn.  He swallowed down the taste of bile rising from the back of his throat and glanced over at the others.
