Flying back down to the castle he spotted many of the residents scrambling out of windows to stand on the tilted outer walls while cheering. Sael was just glad that it had worked and he appeared to have managed to keep anyone from being caught up in the destruction caused by contacting the Void Dragon's scales. He landed next to Ara and Nee who were leaning against each other but otherwise seemed fine. Giving them a sheepish smile he approached hoping they weren't too upset with him.
"Sorry about the lack of warning but I had a limited window to exploit if my plan was to work." He started to explain.
"No excuses." Ara glared at him then pointed to her lips. "Give me a kiss to make it all better." He was glad to see her green eyes sparkled with more mischief than anger. He gave her a quick peck as well as one for Nee who hadn't said anything but her eyes did all the talking.
