"Helping what?" Joana asked, acting ignorant as if he had no idea what Lucifer was talking about.
"I am an oddity, as you described. You didn't know why I was here or what I was. All you had were my words. Generally, the captain of the ship would've kept such a person a prisoner and wouldn't let him be free, let alone taking such a casual walk with them."
"You believed whatever I said, and you're trying to help me find a way. Not only that, you're even taking me back to your world. I can't help but feel like you're treating me less like an unknown prisoner and more like someone you want to help? Why?"
"Why? Maybe I just want to help a person for no reason at all? Maybe I'm just a trusting person?"
"To become a captain in such a massive organization, you can't be an idiot. I assume you're fairly clever... At least clever enough to not trust a person blindly. As for helping someone for no reason at all, I don't buy it."
