She came out from the study and heard the faint music from the ballroom across the hall. She had forgotten the time because of work. She didn't expect that there were so many things that she had to take care of with her investment.
Her lawyer and accountant had told her before that they were swamped with paper works but she chose to ignore them. A while ago, she called someone from her previous job asking for a referral to some lawyers that could do a counterpart with her lawyers to take care of some papers on the other end. Taxes and other stuff were so different in each country no wonder her headache from a hangover got worse— listening to those terminologies that she didn't understand.
