Beau had a restless sleep that day. When he woke up the next day, he had dark circles under his eyes from lack of enough rest. At the breakfast table, it was only he and his grandpa.
The old man took one good look at his grandson and deduced that something was wrong with him. Even so, the rules that have been ingrained in his system for the whole of his years were still solid. He couldn't discuss important issues over a meal.
Once the two were done eating, he took Beau to the garden. The two sat side by side looking at each other. " Tell me, son, how have you been since the last time we met? How are your parents?"
