Bella's breakdown didn't sit right with Emilio, who was still feeling weak from the fever before. Yet, he held her in his arms as he made his way toward the couch, almost staggering. He hated to admit how helpless he felt. Especially because he was not only physically weak at the moment, but because he felt vulnerable too, emotionally.
Bella cried feeling bitter ad wronged. She didn't know who to blame for her life. She just wished to have a complete family. It didn't have to be as sweet as Emilio's nor as affectionate as Beau's understanding. She just wanted a male figure to look up to in her life.
She cried for the man she had never met. The man who fathered her and disappeared from her life as though he was donating his sperms. Or should she blame her mother who kept everything about her father hidden in her heart?
