He slipped his free hand into his pocket, curious now and just as he had suspected, his hand did brush against a piece of paper.
He pulled his hand out, there was no telling what he had written on the piece of paper, reading it in Darian's presence was a recipe for chaos.
He should probably pull his hand away from Darian's hold but what was the use? He had no reason to and it was a little too late to pretend to be offended now.
He pulled his hand away when they got to the door of the apartment, he was glad Darian didn't mention it and they could just pretend it didn't happen.
"Be right back," He was quick to say, already taking off. "I need to get a drink of water."
"Sure." Darian muttered without sparing him a second glance.
He doubted that Leon was actually in there to get himself water but he couldn't have ever guessed why, he had just figured that Leon wanted to get away from him for a while because they had literally walked here hand in hand like sappy lovers.
Leon was traumatised by that but that wasn't the reason he had immediately gotten himself some privacy, the piece of paper that Ethan had slipped in his pocket was literally burning a hole through it.
He yanked it out, scanned it briefly, crushed it in his fist and cursed juicily.
Ethan wanted them to meet but Leon wasn't doing that today.
He made sure to rip it in pieces before dumping it in the trash can.
He wasn't going to think about Ethan for the rest of the day, he needed time away from him.
Leon snapping meant two things, that he was either going to kill Ethan or get broken by him, there was no in between.
He hated both options...
If he wanted to hold out against the psychopath, he needed to distance himself from him sometimes.
Ethan wasn't a kid, he would get over Leon ditching him.
"I thought you decided to drown yourself in the sink." Darian muttered as soon as he stepped into the bedroom.
He was shirtless again, lying halfway over Jaxon so that his head rested on his stomach, warrior tattoo on his side.
When did he start getting so shameless? Leon was the one that had the trademark of being shirtless, he couldn't anymore considering how much he had to hide.
"You're just jealous I'm so hydrated." He said pettishly, taking out his piercings for no reason, even though he had absolutely forgotten that he was supposed to drink water until Darian mentioned it.
Jaxon looked up from his book at this, an expressive look of disbelief on his face. "What the fuck?"
Darian ignored them both, snuggling Jaxon which made him giggle from the ticklish sensation.
Jaxon was dressed in shorts and a shirt, it was too hot for his knitted sweaters.
So he was slightly confused to see that Leon was making no move to get into something more comfortable, stranger because Leon was the type to walk around half naked even though it was storming outside.
Darian beat him to it. "Getting on here with all that on?" He lifted his face from Jaxon's body to ask.
"Yeah, have a problem with that?" He asked a little testily.
"Nope, do you." Darian replied dismissively, turning his face away.
Jaxon placed his book to the side and spread out his arms to invite Leon closer to him.
Leon wasted no time, crawling across the expanse of the bed to Jaxon who instantly wrapped his arms around him, cupping his face.
"You know I don't think I've ever seen you with all your piercings out." He noted.
There was no judgement to his tone like he was saying that it didn't matter whether Leon had his piercings in or not, he was still Leon.
Leon leaned forward to kiss him deeply to stop any more words from him or he would just over analyse them and end up doing some stupid shit, like crying.
Darian paid no mind to them making out mere inches from his head, thinking about far important things like what they would eat for brunch.
He voiced out his concerns and naturally, perfect Jaxon already handled it.
He had to break away from Leon to reply, Leon flopping on the bed beside the both of them.
"I ordered take out, they should be here soon." He replied, ruffling Darian's short hair.
"Actually..." Jaxon froze up, "...they might be here already." He made a move to leave the bed to go check.
Darian rolled off him, right on to Leon and decided to remain there, closing his eyes peacefully like he wasn't crushing someone underneath him.
"Get your heavy bones off me." Leon was quick to protest, trying to roll him off.
"Sure it's my bones you're feeling or yours?" He replied calmly, amusement in his voice but still making no move to get off.
Leon gritted his teeth in irritation, after all his manoeuvring, he only managed to get Darian lying down on him properly while he was facing up so that they were chest to chest.
"This isn't my fault." Darian immediately denied, dropping his head down.
Jaxon? Leon? What did it matter which of them it was.
He shouldn't have done that though because although the lines were blurring, there was a very obvious difference.
"Fucker." He cursed under his breath when Leon jabbed at his jaw with his elbow, the pain making his head ring.
He had merely being teasing him and Leon could have easily rolled him off but since he hadn't, it meant that he wasn't against whatever the fuck they were doing.
Leon was sneaky and smart but Darian still had brute strength against him so it was with that that he pinned him to the bed, getting comfortable on him.
Leon chuckled nervously, trying to sweet talk his way out of his current compromising position.
Darian just took a look at his bare face and went back to resting on him, his eyes closed although his muscles strained with the effort of holding Leon down.
