Chapter 45 - Chapter 45

The rest of the day sped by at least to Darian and Leon who were fast asleep, to Jaxon it seemed like every minute dragged on.

He was thankfully rescued by the clock, he made them wake an hour earlier than they were to be expected for dinner, he had run out of things to stare at in the new room.

Thankfully he was given a little respite for that time, it wasn't like he minded their presence, it had just become harder to be in the same space as both of them.

Because each time he caught a glimpse of them, he was reminded that he had kissed them both, wow, look at him wilding.

He just laid down on the bed, too lazy to grab a book from the pile he brought or even arrange his things, this was supposed to be a vacation, if you could even call it that.

Well, he was here to take a break from responsibilities, he figured that he deserved all of this.

There would be more than enough time the next day and the days that came after to straighten out his things and get some reading done.

He didn't have to go along with Leon and Darian while he worked with the Warriors right? Of course he didn't, so he had more than enough time to do the things he planned to do.

The Pack in question seemed really nice and it wouldn't be a bad move to strengthen their friendship further, it would be to everyone's advantage if all the Packs around Reef City became allies but he wasn't supposed to be thinking about work.

He instead filed the information for later, when he got back to Pine Creek and resumed work.

So what did average people do with their time? Just exist? What was he supposed to do now? Just watch the clock on his dresser tick slowly away?

He almost regretted chasing away Darian and Leon, it was also suspicious how they actually listened to him and stayed away but he wasn't about to check.

He couldn't hear the sounds of destruction and chaos yet so he wasn't that eager to return to their presence once more.

Naturally, his thoughts drifted to the two werewolves who were currently upending his life, gulping when his body slowly heated up.

Oh no…

How… How was he expected to survive any of this?

What was he thinking when he decided to tag along with them? That this would be some happy go lucky trip? That his virgin libido wouldn't somehow try to fuck things up for him?

Fuck! It was almost time for dinner, he couldn't get hard now!

Trying to deal with it was out of the question, not with either of them within hearing distance, he also couldn't trust them to not just barge into his room whenever they felt like it.

So he was going to get constantly aroused and couldn't do a thing about it? He was ruined.

As if on cue, Leon poked his head through the door, roguishly handsome face and smile in place before he sneakily closed the door behind him.

Jaxon stiffened in horror, the possible trauma awaiting if Leon found out his current predicament was enough to sufficiently cool him down.

"Hey." He rolled over to say, he wasn't taking chances.

Naturally, Leon climbed over him, settling face down over Jaxon's back.

Of course, he just had to do that, he wasn't making things any easier for Jaxon.

"Jaxie." The blond Warrior whined, laying his head against Jaxon's back.

Jaxon grabbed his phone and started mindlessly scrolling through, anything to distract him and somehow convince his brain that this was just a bro moment.

"Hm?" he responded, feigning absentmindedness.

"Pay me attention." He continued whining and Jaxon made a face, Leon never outrightly acted this way but he was adorable so he would give him what he wanted.

He pushed his phone away and turned around to look at Leon only to find him already staring intensely at him.

Jaxon's breath caught in his throat but he could not seem to bring himself to look away.

He registered Darian coming in but he was still unable to move, Leon's heated gaze holding him captive.

Was it wrong that the thought of Darian just standing there and watching them made his body burn hotter?

Alright, time out.

"It's already time for dinner." He finally broke away to say, grabbing his phone like a lifeline and sighing in relief when Leon got off him.

What the hell was that?

They stepped out of the apartment and froze up, they were all just realising that they had no idea where the dining hall was.

They had no idea where anything was and they couldn't just go wandering around till they found the right room.

Come to think about it, they had no idea where anything was, skipping on a well needed tour to hide away in their shared apartment.

Luckily, Joe walked up at that moment, most likely sent to fetch them.

"Hey?" He said in a questioning manner, lifting a brow.

"Hi." Jaxon greeted cheerily, trying to dispel the tension heavy atmosphere, although he just managed to worsen it because his attention to Joe brought Leon's and Darian's as well only that they weren't cheery at all.

An awkward spell of silence passed with Jaxon smiling nervously.

"Um… yeah, the dining hall is this way." Joe suddenly jolted into action, swerving around so fast and making away like he was being chased and not giving directions.

"Thanks." Jaxie muttered, too shaken to scold the two weres hovering predatorily behind him to stop glaring.

Dinner would be an absolute treat.

The trip to the dining hall wasn't far and it ended far too quickly for Jaxon's preferences.

He should be relieved though that Leon had chosen to keep his mouth shut all this while but from the way he kept eyeing the back of Joe's head, he couldn't say how long that would be for.
