"You think of me as a challenge?" Menghuo chuckled mirthlessly. "This is why we will never be on the same side, Li Daiyu."
"Not that I care of," Li Daiyu shrugged. She clicked a remote on the coffee table. She played her favorite song that blasted from the speaker inside the penthouse, Dangerous Woman.
Li Daiyu then picked the Cabernet glass from the coffee table and sipped the wine. She let the wine permeated from her tongue down to her throat, and she frowned.
"How bland. I should've taken the Bordeaux," Li Daiyu commented. She got up from the sofa and strutted to the wine cellar in the kitchen. She wore a pink, silk lace-trimmed dress. It accentuated her slender figure and beautiful collar bone.
