[Yang Menghuo POV]
Yang Menghuo watched as his Ying Jie's back was getting further and further from his sight. He stood silently, not knowing what he did wrong. Obviously, they had a great time together on this simple grocery date.
Even Menghuo didn't realize that they had spent hours in this supermarket because it was indeed fun to talk with Ying Jie. Until that, Witch Daiyu called him and ruined his mood.
'I feel like Ying Jie misunderstand something here…' Menghuo thought. He wasn't sure what was inside Ying Jie's mind. It would be a lot easier if he knew. At least it wouldn't create some misunderstanding between them. Because Ying Jie didn't seem to be comfortable when their eyes met.
Yang Menghuo was about to leave the supermarket and texted Ying Jie again to know about their next date until he noticed something on the floor not far from him.
