A week had passed since the incident she encountered at the City Park. Luna try to make herself believe that everything was not as bad as it seems. She believes her husband must have a reason why he did what he did. As long as she remembered, Alex is an honest man. Eventually, he will tell everything to her as before, so she decided to give him some time.
So, she focused on her life..trying to make the best of everyday as usual. She bathed her daughter, dolled her up, doing house chores, checking and updating her blog, reviews the current trade trending, trying another recipe and so on. She feel contented with what she had and what ever she had done.
"Hey baby..are you done? What did you painted today?" she asked her daughter, Lily whom busy playing with colour paints in her 'Lily's Garden'. The space was divided with some toddler's fences, specifically designed for her daughter as her playground.
On cue, her daughter running towards her and shows her the abstract painting of something.
"Wow, it's strikingly colourful. Is it butterfly?"
Lily shaking her head.
"No? Umm..flowers?" Another shaking.
"No? Mommy doesn't know. Lily is a bright child, so why don't you tell mommy what is the painting about?"
She tried to encourage her daughter to speak, albeit only one word. So far, Lily only managed to say 'Ma', which means mom.
Lily is almost three years old, although her physical structure is the same as a five years old child. At the current age, she stand at 108cm in height, 15kg in weight, with chubby and fair face. She has a straight raven hair as Luna, with small curls at the end.
She was diagnosed with mild autism and speech delayed. So, she needed extra care, extra attention, and special approaches to treat her mild autism. But she understood everything as a normal child would. She is such a lovely child whom seldomly crying. Luna watched as her daughter open her mouth and try to say something. "Jærg...atüm..." Lily said proudly.
When Lily watched as her mother trying hard to understand what she had said, she ran off to her 'Lily's Garden' and came back with a scenery picture of a jungle in autumn season.
"Brilliant! Such a beautiful painting you had done," Luna praised, hugging and raining her daughter's face with kisses.
Lily standing with both hands clasped at the back and smiling shyly with pursed lips. She loves it when her mother praised her. Slowly, she hugged her mother back and kissed her left cheek, thrice.
The heart-warming interaction between the pair was interrupted by the sound of pop jazz song, as Luna's phone for work's purpose ringing.
"Hold on, sweetheart. Mommy have to pick up the call. You can play first. I'll accompany you later," Luna said.
She rushed to the dining table, where she had been doing her works and answered the call.
"Luna's speaking."
She listened as the person on the line speak, while she occasionally replied and scribbling on her notepad. After a while, she instructed the person to proceed with the next step and make sure to inform her if there are any problems sprout.
"Is there any other important matters that I should know? Or anything that you had a problem with?" she asked.
"Okay. After you're done, send them to me as usual. Thank you for your hard works. Five percent bonus if the job was well done," she said in slightly cold and authoritative tone before disconnected the call.
As she remember something, she make a call and the other picked up the call on the first ring.
"Hello Sister Chien, how are you?"
She listened as the early thirties lady exclaimed how she missed her and Lily.
"I just want to asked how the workshop progress." "Oh, that's good. Later, I'll stopped by the workshop to see the products."
"Yes, I'll bring Lily with me. Don't prepare anything, we just had our lunch a couple of hours ago."
"See you soon, Sister Chien."
She disconnected the call and rearrange all her works and store them neatly in a dark brown backpack. She double-checked just to ensure everything was packed including her laptop and personal phone.
She wash the glass and wipe the dining table and gently asked Lily to store her toys in the box while she clean up all the paint's stain on the floor and put away the colour paints in the drawer.
Lily tug on her sleeve, asking with her eyes what had happen. Luna smile and pat her hair.
"Do you remembered Aunty Chien?"
Lily pondered for a while before shaking then nodding her head. Luna laughed when she saw her funny face.
"Let's mommy changed your clothes and then we can go out."
Lily jumped up and punched her small fist in the air.
