Lily looked around, searching around the room and stretching her neck toward the kitchen. "Mom?" She quizzically gazing at Zhao Jingren, asking where is her mother.
"She's still sleeping," he answered, glancing at Danial.
Danial nodded and placed some pancakes and a sunny-side up egg on her plate. "You should eat first. Later, we'll wake her up, okay? Maybe we could bring some breakfast for her?"
Lily nodded and happily munching on her food.
Qiao Chien watched they bonded like a family and unconsciously stroking her belly. She still did not reveal about her pregnancy to Zhao Jingren, waiting for a better time to tell him as he seemed busy in the past few weeks.
"Did you have an upset belly?" Zhao Jingren asked, when his wife still did not take a bite on her favourite pancakes and eying her hand on her stomach.
"Ah! No.. I just felt a bit bloated." Qiao Chien immediately shifted her hand and sheepishly rubbing her earlobe.
