"She's sleeping," Qiao Chien mouthed at Danial, putting her hands together beside her tilted cheek.
Danial nodded yet still continues rocking her gently in his embrace. Occasionally, he pecked on her crown. Only after half an hour had passed did he ceased on his movements.
Carefully, he uplifted her from his laps and lulled her again when he saw her lips moving, murmuring something incomprehensible with her brows knitted.
After he sure she won't wake up, slowly and cautiously, he stood up with her cradled in his arms. "I'll put her on her bed first and come back sooner," he spoke in low, hushed voice.
