The wind blew. The scorching sun of the summer morning hit Lai Jiayi's face. The girl was heading to the sanctuary bringing Yaya with her.
"Ugh. Why does it have to be summer when I'm about to do a labor job." Lai Jiayi wiped her sweat and slowed down her bicycle. The girl had arrived at a mild area with lots of lavish greenies around.
The breeze caressed Lai Jiayi's cheek, blowing her ponytail hair into the wind.
"So, this is the sanctuary?" Lai Jiayi looked at Yaya to confirm things.
"Yes, quack. This is the place." Yaya nodded.
"Wow. I thought the sanctuary would be more extravagant and full of futuristic vibe…"
Lai Jiayi looked around only to see rows of tombs with gravestones decorating it. Surrounding the row of graves were green trees planted on brown soil.
It really looked peaceful but old at the same time.
