Yaya puckered his beak and went silent for a few seconds before sighing.
Right as he was about to go to the bathroom and get Lai Jiayi, the bathroom door was opened.
"Pwah. That was good." The girl had a small towel on her shoulder as steam enveloped her hair. Her blue pajamas with a white rabbit pattern looked cute as usual.
"Hmm, hmmm…" Lai Jiayi whistled as she went to bed only to see Yaya was looking at her with dim eyes.
"Eh, why do you look like that?" Lai Jiayi flickered Yaya's forehead, and the duck instantly pecked her finger.
"Don't flick me, quack!"
"Oops. Angry Donald duck." Lai Jiayi laughed as she sat on the bed. "So, what's up? I know something happened when I was bathing, right?"
Lai Jiayi's words were spot on. Yaya instantly flinched and nodded. "There's a new update, quack, " he replied in a low voice.
