They stared at Lai Jiayi with scanning glare.
"She's still beautiful, though." Another male student sneered.
Surely Lai Jiayi was beautiful with that periwinkle long-sleeved shirt. The ankle-length white flare pants made her legs look like a supermodel.
Lai Jiayi was dressed in cheap, ordinary clothes, but her beauty still could be seen. The clothes couldn't hide her beauty at all.
This made the few female students around staring at her in jealousy.
"That, student Lai is over there!" One of the girls immediately ratted Lai Jiayi out. She even sounded proud after she told Xuan Lincheng.
'Since Xuan Lincheng is rumored to be close with Senior Jun, clearly it's better to side with her, right?'

Xuan Lincheng bit her lips while lowering her long, butterfly-like eyelashes. Her face rapidly turned ghastly pale, and her whole being looked so fragile. She seemed as if she would be blown by the wind very easily.
'! The beauty is...about to cry? She even seems afraid of Lai Jiayi!'
Instantly, the classroom turned noisy again. All the students glared at Lai Jiayi even though they didn't know what's going on, sending a shiver down Lai Jiayi's spine.
