Previously on MDU System
We we're finally home but was stopped by soldiers stating that we are not allowed to passed through and go home. I did tried to talk it out with the soldiers, and be civil about it but one arrogant soldier aim his gun at me and threatened to kill me so I had to show off a bit and also showed them a portion of my stat page as well as my daughter's. They cower in fear and almost made a mistake that would cost their life. All in all every thing is fine, we were able to passed through the checkpoint and now heading to our new home.
Chapter 12
As soon as we entered the city from the north end of McPhillips St a bunch of monsters can be seen scattered everywhere. The houses where my parents and younger sibling live are way apart from each other and the garden city mall parking lot are now full of monster mobs ranging from slimes, goblins, orcs, wolves and ogres.
We didnt bother going at my parents place first since the entrance to their little community has been block by lots of cars and from just the looks of it their neighbourhood are quiet for now, but I'll be sure to check on them soon.
We didn't bother running over monsters for now since we couldn't wait to go home and see the changes done to our neighbourhood.
The two sisters wasn't expecting our house to be small since we were able to afford an RV van.

Yes it does look small when looking at it at the front but I assure you it has rooms for everyone to stay in.
The usual order of things houses in these streets are built side by side with each other, with only enough space to walk to your back lane. But now all houses are moved 6 houses down all around the house, meaning that there is enough space to build a good wall that divides the outside from the inside.
As soon as we drove to the back lane everyone could see that the house was fully stretched to the back with a more modern style than, what one might see at front.
We got down from the Roadster and had to un-summon it, because there's only 3 parking space inside and my two cars are currently there.
I showed everyone where they could sleep and rest up, so I toured everyone while my wife prepare the food and my daughter laid down at the couch and played games at her phone.
After I toured everyone the 2 sisters chose the 2 rooms at the first floor while Yuki, Beatrix and Malbek chose the 3 rooms right above the two sister's room on the 2nd floor. I told M.kei to show the 2 female travellers how to use the toilette, shower and the tub as I showed Malbek how to use those too.
I explained to them that this setup will mostly be temporary just until I built some living quarters in the shelter for everyone to permanently stay at.
Also didn't forget to set up a dimension door in the living room to be used by everyone specially Yuki whose partner decided to stay at the factory.
Just as how I showed and explained to the sisters the function of the dimension door, I did the same with the 3 travellers and from their reaction, they told me that they have something similar in their world that connects all towns and city in the continent to be able to travel in between for a cost.
Yuki went ahead and touched the door then a list of locations where the door has been set-up appeared, as she already knows where to go, she said her goodbyes and will comeback soon to visit and let Michael knows about the door being operational. Then she said "factory", Yuki disappeared like data being sucked in through the door. Everyone including myself was stupefied, the effects of transfer to another place is out of this world.
After we ate the food, I told my wife that I'll be setting up wooden fences along the perimeter of the house

Don't worry I'll be quick..I went downstairs and went outside through the front door.
First things first, I activated 1 shelter ticket and Genesis showed me a representation of the space surrounding my house through columns and rows of 5 x 6 and the space with house was marked.
I decided to put the entrance to the shelter right beside the house and the perimeter of the top and bottom row will be made with wooden fences and the same will be applied at the perimeter of the first and fifth column.
I pressed the space beside the house and it instantly got marked as shelter

From there I received a notification from Genesis to start the construction

So a large construction is currently in progress and would take a whole day to finish.
While that's done, I went ahead and took out treated woods, metal brackets, lots of fence screws and 1/4 down limestones to start building the wooden fence around the specified area that can be upgraded later on.
Esme POV.
- M.kei I'll be going out for a bit and survey the area. Esme said
- Will you take long mom?
- Probably but it all depends on the situation.
- I'll just stay and watch daddy work
Esme went to the deck located at the rooftop
- I'm really glad that we made the 3rd floor as an open deck
Spark of light suddenly appeared on Esme's eyes and spoke
- "System Equip" 00-FS armor, Endo-Sym Armor in standby mode!
Instead of equipping the 00-FS armor directly , the endo-sym armor was equip instead to be used as the inner armor and a standby mode instead of the sailor suit.
- Activate GN Field!, the GN particles scattered to 1 km all around Esme current position.
- QA System, display monster nest in radar
- Looks like the range of the GN field isn't enough, the system couldn't picked up any monster nest.

- I increased the range up-to 15 kms, hoping that I could get something out of this upgrade.

- right after the upgrade, the system started to display all nest in the radar with a lot of red clusters. One of the few locations are parks, big open space like parking lots.
- What do we have here, the westview off-leash dog park got lots of monster mobs according to the radar pings
- For now I didn't bother putting on battle mode and just used GN sword bits for auto repel and will just use repulsers for now.
- I arrived on top of the dog park, I saw an unusual building that wasn't there before, I asked the system if there are any humans in the area and it show that there are some at the foot of the park.
- According to the radar, there is a big red cluster inside the building and decided to fire my repulsor beam on it and see what might comes out of it, the white-blue in color on my suit immediately turned red as soon as I decided to fire the beam. As I'm hovering on top of the park, I positioned my two palms facing the building while on air and fired 6 beams that hits different parts of the building.

A 9 foot tall humanoid shape monster covered with hooded monk outfit and a gas mask on its face smashed the building to get outside, a giant clawed gauntlet could be seen on its right hand and a giant sawed-off shotgun was hanging behind its back
Humans from the foot of the park immediately run towards the loud shout to see what might have angered the beast on top. From the distance, they could see a a beautiful woman in a hight tech silver armor hovering on the air looking down at the rampaging 9 foot monster trying to find its prey.
- What a dumb-ass, the monster didn't even bothered to look up and tried to find me on the ground. I saw 2 out of 6 beam wounds that can be seen bleeding through its outfit but it stopped after a while. I really was hoping I could just use the standby mode to kill this one but the beam didn't damage it that much.
The people watching the scene, saw the hovering woman equipped an additional armor on top what she was wearing and formed a big gun right after her transformation.
- I activated the battle mode and in 7 seconds the 00-FS armor was equipped, I couldn't get tired watching myself in 3rd person view when the armor is being equipped.
- I flew to increase my altitude and combined GN sword 5 and GN sword bits to form the GN Buster rifle. I took aim right down the rampaging monster and in 5 seconds the 10K Energy discharge was shot to the monster. The shot made a giant deep hole, that ate a part of the park and after a ton of killed notification was received by everyone in the party.
A tiny notification box on the right side of Jason and M.kei's sight popped up a bunch of killed notification and from Jason's panel the upgrade points jumped up to 1.25M points from 455k points, the same applied to the EXP bag: 244,000 ➠ 650,000 and it's still climbing!.
Ohh shoot!!!, I fired too much energy energy and made a deep hole on the park. The radar suddenly made a sound letting me know that a enemy groups that survived the blast are now climbing the giant hole. I made the sword bits to auto attack all enemies that were able to climbed up the hole and took two gun-blades from the full sabre to finish of the remaining enemies
The people down below was so amazed at the spectacle happening right before their eyes that all their attention was on the girl in armor fighting a one sided battle.
I finally killed the remaining humanoid monsters then a warning display appeared and suddenly the whole park shook like it was hit by an earthquake.
The radar showed that a massive red dot is currently climbing the deep hole, in about few seconds, a massive hand appeared reaching the tip of the hole, dragging up its gigantic body and finally it was able to take its whole body out of the hole and stood tall on top of the park.
As soon as the warning blared from the system I immediately upgraded my GN drive particle and particle energy to 100k each to recover some energy to be used for another shot with the buster rifle.

In about 15 seconds the massive humanoid monster's hand appeared and I was able to use inspect on it

Right after I saw that its rank and class are at 3, I flew a bit down and started charging the GN Buster rifle to discharge all the remaining energy to this juggernaut. As soon as the miner monster stood tall and faced me the energy in my buster rifle finally finished charging and I immediately pulled the trigger. A powerful shot produced a wide energy beam was fired with a radius of 100 meters flew through the horizon and exploded once it hits the space outside Winnipeg and made a wide and deep crater that generated high heat and magnetic field through its surroundings.
Only the lower part of the variant miner juggernaut's body was left after the energy beam hit its upper-body.
The people watching the scene made their jaw dropped down from shock. The scene of energy beam flying through the horizon was seen and witnessed by a-lot of people specially those who worked in the old government and in the military. Everyone intended to gather information as to where the destructive energy beam came from.
Esme's suit released a ton of steam and slowly disappeared from its body since all of its energy had been consumed.
- Phew!! I never thought that would work, I better gather the loots and leave the place as fast as I can before the authorities sees me.
Esme knew that some people are watching her from a distance but she didn't know if they are from the government or not.
After everything was stored including the drop of the boss, Esme immediately flew towards the house.

A group of people just received an intel about a tech able to produce and discharge an unbelievable amount of energy that obliterates everything in its path including monsters
The technology to be able to release that much energy must be acquired at all cost, gather everyone available and post a reward for any information regarding the energy beam that travelled half across the city
An unknown tech just made its debut
