Having been following Jamal for a couple of days and not seeing a way to approach him and get him to seriously consider Vicinus. Marcus finally saw an opening after he had gotten to the observatory the night of his fierce and wild sex with Rosa. That night during his period viewing the stars Jamal saw Vicinus with Greg's ship in orbit around it. Excited at seeing a planet with an alien ship in orbit around it and it being only four light years away Jamal eagerly called his fellow astronomers at other observatories to look at the Area of Alpha Centauri and then focus in on the sun of nearby Proxima Centauri to see the planet and it's ship.
After following his directions of where to locate his telescope one of them asked Jamal, "What am I supposed to be seeing Jamal? I'm just seeing what looks like a red dwarf and that's it. I'm not seeing any planets other than a distant gas giant."
