Bree stood there with a severe contemplating face as she held the piece of plain beast-parchment skin in her hands. She was really tempted to betray Aiden and back out from the deal. In fact, she was slightly confident she could even get away and disappear from here, making it hard to track her down.
The figure behind her that stood silently gazing at her back vanished after a few seconds.
With a sigh, Bree turned around and started searching around the room to check if there were any clues left to her by her father or by someone else who had been here.
