"I came not to care for such futile actions. I have and will always remain a powerful War God, whether you enforce thy authority upon me or not." Hachiman smirked at the ground.
"Haha! You are absurd. Go ahead. I will let thee speak thy words for the laughter you gave me." The Heavenly God laughed, staring down at Hachiman, resting his face on his palm.
"I come with a warning. The Underworld is preparing to launch their move..."
The Heavenly God's foolish comment cut off Hachiman.
"So what? I care not for that. They gave me the fun task of punishing you by sending you through the Samsara wheel. Speak thy reasoning, not thy warning, boring fool!" The mysterious God finally revealed why he was the only one to greet Hachiman.
"What punishment? The Heavens let me off!" Hachiman snapped back, finally staring directly at God with belligerent eyes.
"Ohh, you brainless varmint. We, the Heavens, cannot look past your recent disgrace to us!" The God rose from his seat as the occupied dimension equivalent to the infinite universe earth belonged within began to shake from his aura.
"There shall be a new War God. One obedient to us. One with the devotion of a dog!" The God raised his hand upwards.
"I see..." Hachiman's tone heightened while penetrating the pressure and breaking the spell effortlessly. He stood up with an aura that made the Heavenly God question his winning probability. "Then I shall go against my respects for the Heavens and rebel. If I survive, I will take your head to court."
"Spear of Battle!"
"Yata no Kagami," Hachiman summoned his sacred tools. But unfortunately, he didn't summon his battle armor attire because it would obstruct him from moving swiftly.
"Now, War God, you dare to stand against the Heavens?" The Heavenly God had summoned his sacred weapon. A golden trident, uniquely shaped.
"That sacred weapon. Can't it be? The Legendary Poseidon?" Hachiman's eyes enlarged from shock.
"Hahaha! Come, War God, let me send you through the Samsara Cycle again!" Poseidon ripped the cloak off, revealing a tall, shredded brunette man with green eyes.
Vooowsh!
The two colliding auras caused gusts of wind within the mansion.
Boom!
The two disappeared from their standing places and met in the middle with their spear and trident colliding. Sparks flew off. One tiny spark was enough to melt a moon the size of the earth's moon.
As the sparks fell to the ground, they began melting the surface of the mega-sized planet down to the core and possibly out the other side.
Ka-boom!
The two flew upwards through the roof. Then, both fled from each other inside this endless lit dimension. Then, again, they flew towards one another. Before impacting his spear onto his foe's trident, Hachiman ordered his shield to act offensive and strike Poseidon from the side, wanting to throw him off balance. But Poseidon reacted in time with his defensive spell.
"Sea Dragons!" He generated waves from his palm, and they took the shapes of multiple dragons that crashed against the shield. Fortunately, thanks to the unique ability of Yata no Kagami to reflect any and all magical energy attacks, the spell also reflected at Posidon with double the force.
Boom!
The waves came crashing at him as Hachiman struggled against his trident.
"Damn it..." Poseidon commented before flying upwards and out from the massive waves that washed away, waiting for the spell's duration to finish.
He began searching for Hachiman from above, but little did he know that Hachiman's blue, glowing eyes were behind him, ready to slice and dice.
Slash!
Slash!
Slash!
He let out an absurd amount of slashes and slices at the afterimage of Poseidon.
"So, we might be equally matched in strength?" Poseidon thought to himself. "But I have the upper hand with energy!" He smiled, looking below himself at Hachiman, who had noticed him. both stared each other down as Poseidon again ordered. "Come, War God!"

Oshkosh!
Shhhhh!
The entire structure of the inner dimensional strings of reality shook as a gate opened in Hachiman's dimension, and so did one in all of the other places that the gods occupied. Stepping out of them were dignified angels dressed in white.
"A Tennyo?" Miko stood up, looking over the family as they looked behind their backs, taken back a bit.
"What is it, Tennyo?"
The Tennyo sent to notify Miko of her lord's betrayal was the one assisting and guiding Hakai God.
"I traced lord Hakai here. Where is he?" She asked her. The color of her eyes was like a deep stare into the darkness. She was petite with a large bust. Her face was thin, and her eyelashes were long. Even Miko fell for her a little.
"So pretty!" Miko thought before replying.
"He's currently recovering. Anything you need me to deliver to him?"
"No wonder he wasn't answering me..." Tennyo said, looking up with sorrowful eyes.
"Yes, it will be like knocking two birds with one stone anyway. Lord Hachiman of War is currently betraying the Heavens, engaged in battle with one of the Sovereign Rulers of Heaven." She broke the news, causing Miko to faint from excessive stress.
Thud!

Boom!
Poseidon's trident struggled against the Yata no Kagami. Hachiman pulled the spear behind his head. His eyes glowed in blue as the afterimage of the spear traced its origin.
Slice!
He sliced Poseidon's right arm clean from the shoulder.
Clink!
The trident fell and landed on the grassy ground beneath the arched Poisdeon, holding his shoulder in pain. "I can't heal? Against someone lower than myself?"
"You know, Poseidon. When a god mortally wounds another, their wounds tend to heal slower. That and the fact you are up against me? You will not heal in time to resist me, let alone survive this now. So surrender, O' mighty God of The Sea!"
"Heh! You, a lower life form that would defy me, a Sovereign ruler of Heavens? Pathetic!"
"I knew we shouldn't have dispelled the Regiment of God's Assassins!" Posiedon continued his rant.
Drrr-boof!
D-boom!
The sky above, where Poseidon levitated, split open to reveal a massive army, along with thirty other cloaked beings, perhaps other gods.
"Back-up?" Hachiman uttered unwillingly, his forehead creased.
"Damnit, can I not say goodbye to my followers?" He chuckled nervously.
"Miko and Hakai, I'm sorry, but this is it." Hachiman's shield returned behind him. His head dropped, welling up in tears of regret about not getting to say his farewells.
Poseidon located his trident and plummeted head first downwards, faster than any known speed. Even the speed of light was not enough to measure their rates. Noticing his intentions, Hachiman followed him, but a cloaked being appeared before him and struck his golden sword for his neck. Luckily he blocked the blade and kicked away the cloaked man. He crashed into the army, taking massive casualties with him. He stood up and went back in line with the other cloaked beings. Hachiman was slowed down.
"Pfft, a lower life form, kicking you away like a bowling ball, smashed into its pins." His companions taunted him for being kicked away and killing fourteen of their fighters.
Hachiman finally landed, but it was too late as Poseidon had healed his shoulder and regenerated a new arm thanks to his massive reserves of Positive Energy.
A god must focus on healing a particular part or his entire body, and so it will. Of course, gods do not need to be bound by astral-infused flesh, but the heavens made that choice years back, which enraged Shinigami to revolt.
"Once again. Come, War Lord!" Poseidon gestured to Hachiman as the gods ran at each other, screaming.
Clash!
The two sacred weapons clashed against one another. Then, massive shockwaves of chaotic energy began generating from the point of the impact traveling through the dimensional plain. Finally, the army behind finished their spell, and whoever was in it simultaneously instantly shifted to another dimension of equivalent size. Hachiman felt the ground beneath his feet.
Boom!
The shockwaves rippled and ripped through space and time, cracking and leaving a massive crater on the planet they currently occupied.
"A different space-time?" Hachiman backed away from Poseidon, flying backward.
"I am the God of War. No one shall exceed me in warfare!" Hachiman's grin belittled Poseidon and the army. So they began their charge at Hachiman.
