Completely contradictory to the main palace, the empress's residence was much brighter. The halls were still constructed from the stone of the mountain, but instead of the dark endlessness Flora had become accustomed too, the rock adorning the hallways was coated in some sort of resin to make it shimmer like the pale moon. Somehow, the place was bright and even felt a bit cheerful. Everything from the architecture to the decorations was more welcoming than the main palace.
