Fear enveloped the Emperor as he stared into Titania's fierce eyes. He didn't expect to see how the woman changed, from the sweetest girl who would always care for him to this cold and ruthless woman who didn't want to obey his wishes.
"You're the only one I have." Lennox held her hand. "I can't lose you." Titania slowly took back her hand without hurting the Emperor.
"I'm not an object that you could take wherever you want. I belong to myself."
Lennox stood up and slammed the table, creating a loud noise. "No! You're mine! No one can have you; you're supposed to be mine. Only mine." Titania felt surprised, but she tried to look calm, not until the Emperor made his way towards her and forcibly kissed her lips.
She froze, and her eyes widened in shock as she felt disgusted. She thought that this must be what the Archduke felt when she did it without his permission.
Lennox smiled as if he was successful in snatching the girl, but all he did was fuel her anger for him even more. Her guards, Ryker and Daniel, quickly went beside the lady in case of her getting hurt. Although they felt miserable for not being able to stop Lennox from kissing their lady.
"How could the Emperor kiss another man's lady?"
Lennox froze, and Titania didn't want to look behind her because of that cold-chilling voice. Emperor Lennox slowly backed away from the lady, he just realized what he did, and he was scared of receiving Sylvester's wrath.
Sylvester stood right behind Titania with his arms crossed, "I didn't know you're coming to visit my fiancée, your highness." The young lady slowly turned her head to look at him. 'Is it just me, or I could see his cross-popping veins from here?'
The Archduke suddenly pulled the lady up from her seat. "I hope you're regretting what you did. Actions like that make me feel angry. You wouldn't want me to get angry, right, dear cousin?"
Lennox flinched upon hearing that. "You can never change my fiancée's mind, so please stop it now." The two saw how the expression on Lennox's face changed. They knew it wouldn't stop there. He'll keep coming back until he gets what he wants.
"Now lead the Emperor out of the manor. He still has lots of things to do." Sylvester grabbed Titania by the waist and led her out of the greenhouse.
The two walked in complete silence; even Bonbon could feel the tension between them. All the servants bowed to the two as they walked to Sylvester's office. Where two men await their arrival.
Upon their arrival to the office, "What did the Emperor say? Did he know that you're missing from your post?" The unfamiliar man asked while Titania made her way to the sofa.
The menacing aura coming from the Archduke made Titania want to just zip her mouth and not talk about anything.
Sylvester sighed as he walked to his seat. "No, he went for her." He pointed at the lady making Blaze and the other man whose name is still not mentioned gaze at.
"What about your report Alger?" The man beside Blaze, whose name is Alger, reported his work to the Archduke.
"We've failed to get the location." Sylvester grunts upon hearing that. Titania didn't even bother listening to what they were talking about not until she remembered what she did at the engagement party.
It keeps haunting her because she's guilty and wants to clear it with the duke. Now that she felt what it's like to be kissed by a person you don't even like, it added guilt.
Titania raised her hand to get their attention. "I want to apologize," Titania butted in.
Sylvester's forehead creased as he remembered what the Emperor did. "For what? Did you do something troublesome again?"
"For the kiss. I'm sorry for kissing you without your permission."
Blaze and Alger kept shifting glances after hearing that. They wondered if they should get out of the room because other men shouldn't hear what the lady said.
"I realized that being kissed by someone without your permission is quite… overbearing." Sylvester clenched his fist as he felt annoyed with what he had witnessed.
"Shouldn't we punish the Emperor for what he did to the lady?" Alger looked at the Archduke with eyes waiting for his permission to assassinate the Emperor.
"No. It doesn't matter as long as the fairy's not hurt."
Alger and Blaze looked at each other, thinking, 'You look like you want to kill him, though.' Towards the Archduke.
"And right, we have a child now." Their gaze shifted to Titania after she said that. It flustered Sylvester, making him blush as his eyes widened in shock.
"W-What nonsense?! I haven't even touched you yet."
The embarrassment swallowed Alger as he covered the young knight's ears beside him. "We'll excuse ourselves." He said as he pulled Blaze out of the room, leaving the two and Bonbon inside.
Sylvester began walking back and forth, trying to remember the time he spent with the lady.
He's sure that he didn't do any indecent thing to the young miss, but he's also aware that his memories of the time in the cave are vague. "Did you… When I was sick, did you take advantage of me?"
Titania gaped with disbelief. "Do I look that shameless to you?" she scoffs, and the Archduke nodded. "A kiss wouldn't impregnate you, so that's the only thing I could think of." She slapped her forehead out of frustration.
"Who said I'm pregnant?"
"Huh?"
Titania lifted Bonbon and showed him to the Archduke. "Bonbon is now our child." Sylvester's expression turned grim after hearing that. He almost utter things that he would regret.
He slowly unsheathed his sword, making the young demi-human feel scared as he clings to Titania.
"Hey, calm down! If you don't want to be his dad, then I'll ask Astra—"
"What?"
Titania gulped upon witnessing the Archduke's aura getting darker as he looked more terrifying. "You're going to ask another man to be your child's dad?"
"But you didn't want to be his dad!"
"That's because I hate his name. It's too lame." The Archduke placed down his sword as he sat on the table in front of the two. "I'm going to give you a holy name."
Titania's forehead creased while Bonbon smiled so happily. 'That's his reason?! Because the name I gave is lame?!' It is rare for demi-humans to acquire holy names, and when they do, they become stronger and would be loyal to the one who gave their names.
It was said before that demi-humans don't have names because they're primarily half-demons that would ruin the Tharain if given more power. But that's just how humans think because they don't want to get along with other beings that don't benefit them.
"From now on, you're my son, and I'm naming you Sol." The little creature float in the air emitting white light.
His hair turned into a golden colour, and his eyes sparkled more than the sun. Although his body didn't grow, he looked more marvellous than how he was before. Sylvester quickly catches Bonbon as he falls to the ground, making Titania pout out of frustration.
"How could you name him just like that? I'm the one who's supposed to name my child!"
Sylvester didn't bother and continued patting Bonbon's head, making them look like they were closer than ever. "Yes, you can give him a name. But a holy name is different." Titania raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms. "I'm the Fairy Queen. I could surely do that too."
"You can't."
"Huh?" 'What does he mean I can't? Titania's the Fairy Queen! She could do things like that!' is what she thought out of frustrations.
"You didn't know? You're half-human."
Titania froze upon hearing that. The Archduke just dropped a bomb right in her face. 'What the hell? Titania's half-human? Doesn't that make her a demi-human?!'
"Where did you even get that information? There's nothing like that written in the book."
"Maybe it's because Titania's too young to remember. Only my parents and your mom know the truth." She didn't know why she felt so weird upon hearing the truth.
Nina's aware that it doesn't matter who Titania's parents are; she's not here to make friends nor get along with those who abandoned the young fairy. But there's something in her heart that she couldn't explain.
"How did you know about that?"
"I accidentally heard it. Don't worry, we're only the one who knows. And of course, Sol." The sudden changes to Sylvester's treatment of Bonbon made Titania's face turn into a sour expression. "He's not yours." She said.
"Yeah. You said Sol's our son, remember?" Titania flinched and felt her heart skip a beat. 'The hell? Don't skip on me now, stupid heart.' She shook her head and kept rubbing off the tingly feeling out of her system.
"Anyway, we need to discuss something. Alger, Blaze." The two teleported back inside the room.
Blaze looked at Sylvester because he was holding Bonbon so preciously. He wasn't expecting the Archduke to do something like that.
As they were gathering information about whatever they were talking about, they heard a knock on the door and saw Marie coming inside with a pink letter in her hand.
"Milady, Lady Vivica sent you this letter. I apologize for intruding your grace." Marie quickly excused herself after handing Titania the letter.
"What does it say?" Titania rolled her eyes to the Archduke because he asked already, even though the lady didn't open it yet. "It says she's inviting me for a tea party in their manor." The three men looked at each other.
"That's it!" Alger pointed out which made Titania surprised.
Sylvester nodded as if he got what Alger was talking about. "She should infiltrate the manor and get what we need."
"Excuse me, I don't want to be involved with this talk." Blaze quickly blocked the door on Sylvester's command before Titania could even get off of her seat.
"We need your help, my Queen." Titania felt shivers down her spine after hearing that cringey term that the Emperor used to say.
Titania pouted as she kept hitting the sofa. "But I don't want to see Vivica."
"You're great at acting, right? You could fool her. I'll reward you." Titania's eyes sparkled as soon as she heard that she was getting a reward. "But I should be the one wanting a reward since I kept you safe here, right?" Her eyes turned grim after that.
"Safe my ass." She mumbled.
"Let's plan it out thoroughly since she'll do it anyway."
Titania rolled her eyes, 'Ugh, I hate him.'
