I'd never being so excited in my life [ My very first assignment ] My name's Tyler Title and if you haven't guessed yet, I'm the junior storyteller that was picked to make sure a mortal understood our realm and the importance of our work, at least that's what I was told.
I didn't need to pack anything, just my book and pen like all professional storytellers do. I'm not sure why I was picked either, though I can write a good story, I'm not very good at speaking. Coach says I sound to robotic and unrelaxed but I'm going to prove myself to everyone.
I looked up at the building in front of me, it had many different sized and coloured tubes that went everywhere in the Fantasy Realm and that was going to take me to meet my new mission.
But as I was lead into the tube, something went wrong. I tried getting out but it wasn't working and I was already getting sucked up. With nothing to hold on to, the pressure carried me with it and I hit my head at a bump.
I felt myself loose consciousness no matter how hard I tried to resist " How can I let myself die before completing my first mission "?

Tess and Sal had stayed up all night reading Sydney's file and then arguing about how to solve it. When Paul and Sarah arrived the next morning, they were sprawled on the floor, buried under paper.
Paul sighed as he kicked Sal " Get up, we have work to do ". Sal rubbed the spot he was kicked and got up, wiping the drool on his mouth " You think it's easy but we did come up with something, right Tess "?
Tess who was dozing off, snapped awake " Of course ". Sal got up and yawned, helping Tess up as well " We just need some time to figure out the bugs ".
Sarah nodded thankfully " We really appreciate you guys doing this for us, what exactly do you two have in mind "? The two smiled at each other and looked back at them. Sal lifted up his glasses " The best fusion of tech and writing you'll ever see ". Tess added happily " A guaranteed success for all ".
Paul murmured under his breath " It'd better be ", Sarah elbowed him in the gut whispering through her smile " Be nice ".
Though Paul and Sarah had no idea what Tess and Sal were doing, they seemed to. A few hours later, Sandra personally stormed into their workshop an hour after noon and she seemed very worried.
" What did you come up with "? Sarah tried to approach her, sounding gentle " There's no rush, we're almost done ". Sandra's eye twitched as she pointed at her tablet " Negative emotions are dangerously high, at eighty percent. Do something quickly "!
Tess and Sal looked at each other then Sandra " Chief we've still got a lot of tests to finish ". Sandra rubbed her temple "What exactly did you two come up with exactly "?
Tess spoke earnestly " Sal and I are working on some new hologram technology that should be stimulated by whatever she writes that'll hopefully put her in a better mood and since her birthday just came up, it wouldn't be too suspicious if it appeared ".
Sandra seemed convinced " That's a wonderful idea, but you have until the end of the working day to have it finished ". Sandra didn't wait for a response and left.
Tess began to panic to Paul and Sarah " We can't finish this by the end of today, we have many tests to finish and over things to do ". Sarah nodded seriously " Is there anything we can do to help "?
Sal scratched his head and threw his coffee mug at Paul " Start by getting lots of coffee ". They spent the rest of the day working on the project Tess had now nicknamed SOS - Smile Oh Smile.
It sounded ridiculous but no one could tell her that since she was the one building it and they finished it around six. " I think it looks girly enough ". Sal nodded " Of course, we make a good team ".
Paul rolled his eyes " Enough you two, was it successful "? Tess nodded, handing him the book " This is just a prototype, there are a lot of variables and the wiring is delicate so try not to let it slip or the whole thing could fall apart...."
Tess mumbled the rest of her sentence under her breath and Sarah spoke in her usual gentle voice " Speak up sweetie, we can't here you ". Tess nodded nervously as she took a step back " We don't know what could happen if the book was mishandled, it could blow up or electrocute her or nothing....nothing might happen ".
Paul and Sarah now looked at the book with fear and gulped " What are the odds of that happening "? Tess shrugged " three out of a hundred but just play it safe, I cannot lose another commission for doing this ".
Paul and Sarah thanked her before getting thrown out. They personally sent it over to the transportation department who was about to deliver her some groceries. They were hopeful that this would be the end of their first red flag, what they didn't know was they just literally made it disappear.
